The Martial Arts Channel Participates at EFC's Black Belt Education Summit

Princeton, New Jersey — October 24, 2005 — The Martial Arts Channel (MAC), the first family-friendly 24-hour martial arts inspired cable television network, announced today that Tony Cort, its Founder, Chairman and CEO, will be a featured presenter and exhibitor at Educational Funding Company's (EFC) Black Belt Summit from October 27-29th in Orlando, Florida.

EFC has a 30-year track record of offering educational assistance, sophisticated tuition billing and innovative business consulting services for the martial arts Industry to domestic and international clients. The summit will highlight the following areas: martial arts school owners, graduating more black belt students, initiatives to increase schools' retention rates, and customer service.

As a media and marketing professional and an accomplished martial artist, Cort is scheduled to present the values of marketing and media in martial arts on Friday the 28th at 9:00 a.m. as part of the opening ceremonies at the summit. Cort's featured presentation will be the prelude to a theatrical presentation produced by EFC entitled: "A Day in the Life of a Martial Arts School."

MAC's priority has been and continues to be focused on supporting martial arts, educating the entire family and the practice of healthy living through martial arts. A significant part of MAC's educational outreach is geared toward public and private schools and partnerships with martial arts schools throughout the country to support the personal development of children and young adults.

"I believe strongly in EFC's mission, and I am happy to participate in this summit. One reason is because EFC has been a great supporter of MAC and the other is because our focus is on martial arts education and information on-air, online and onsite," said. Cort. "It is very important that schools not only educate students, but also educate everyone in the community in which they serve about the overall benefits of "martial arts 360", including self-discipline; responsibility; physical fitness; life skills; nutrition; confidence building; teamwork; mental and physical fitness; strength training; balance and well-being; promotion of preventive health measures such as injury prevention and recovery, stretching, meditation, and disease prevention; energy, and more."

Club MAC Xtreme™ (CMX), the first and only interactive broadband experience covering the world of martial arts, is now live on www.macxperience.com and MAC is launching Chi-FYI: The Power of Healthy Living™ kicking off in February 2006. MAC will coordinate a series of health related martial arts events throughout the U.S. and online with participation from leading martial artists, fitness experts, and medical and nutritional professionals starting in February 2006 and continuing throughout the year.

"The Martial Arts Channel and Tony Cort will be an integral part of EFC's summit this year, and we wouldn't have it any other way," said Ned Muffley, General Manager at EFC. "Tony's dedication to the martial arts field and education is beyond compare, and we are very excited about MAC's initiatives, including CMX and Chi-FYI."
